Hi,

My name is Debbie Barak, and I am a single mother of 3, living in the outskirts of Jerusalem, Israel.

 

I always liked to cook, especially meat dishes but also some other stuff.  Then, when the kids were small, I had no time for it, and also no one to apprecieate it anymore:  I did not have the time to host much, and my kids would apprecieate only kids stuff:  BM etc.

 

Now, my oldest son, H., is already 11, and he LOVES meat!   For a few years he wanted, as young kids do, the same dishes every time.  Then he discovered barbecue, and I had to learn the art of bbq, which I had never tried before.  And now he wants new stuff, he also likes to cook himself, and together we can discover again the world of cooking.

 

This blog will be dedicated to cooking meat – recipes, advice, bbq tips etc., and also my general musings – about life, kids, single parenting and whatever.
